Aztec Recording Studio is a total production facility that specializes in recording demos, full-length cd’s and 5.1 Surround Sound Mixing. Originally starting out as “Blue Sky Recording” as a project studio in April of 1997 the studio has evolved to a full Production Facility. “Blue Sky” spent several years recording demos and cd’s for many Memphis bands. In 2002 with the design of a new control room and the installation of the latest state of the art recording hardware and software the studio changed its name to Aztec Recording Studio.

   Dennis Allen Cupp (Producer/Engineer/Owner) has been recording for about 15+ years. It all started from early band demos on 4 track machines where he developed a passion for the art of recording and producing. Dennis’ credits include work on albums by Leroy Star, Gabby Johnson, Bend and the Live DVD “Let’s Get Loud” by Jennifer Lopez , plus many others. He has worked with nationally renowned engineer/producers such as Michael Patterson and Danny Jones. Dennis has also volunteered his time to the NARAS Premier Players Awards show working on both the Live Recording and the  Live Radio Broadcast for 5 years.

   Aztec Recording is designed to be a place where creativity flows like water.
